COVID-19 Update 6/6/20

Following instruction from Public Health England and the Chief Dental Officer for England to all dental practices in England, Marple Dental had to close it doors for any face to face appointments with patients on 26th March 2020 to ensure control of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. We have contnued to assist patients remotely with telephone consultations, prescriptions for antibiotics and painkillers and referal to Urgent Dental Care Hubs where required.

We are very pleased to announce that we shall be reopening our doors on Monday 8th June. We shall be opeing in a phased approach to ensure the safety of all our patients and staff and shall be starting to treat patients who have had troubles during this period.

The types of treatment we will initially offer shall be more limited than our normal scope of practice but we are looking to reintroduce routine treatments when it is safe to do so.

To ensure everyone’s safety we have introduced many new measures wihin the practice which will result in patients experince at the dentist being slightly different to how it was before. When it is safe to do so we shall look to relax these measures, but in the meantime please understand if appointments take longer or are less convienient than usual.

We have produced this leaflet (right) to explain some of these changes, but we shall look to write a more detailed decription in the coming days.
