The rules given to you when the aligners are first fitted are quite clear. TAKE THEM OUT BEFORE YOU EAT ANYTHING.

The aligners despite not being painful anymore, were still tight, particularly the lower one where the biggest movement was being done to the teeth and consequently the attachments were fitted to these. The difficulty of removal (leavering them out was not an elegant manoeuvre) actually led me to consider not bothering with breakfast today- which for me is a major thought. This led to a battle between the needs of my stomach and the discomfort of aligner removal. On this occasion my stomach won, but it was a close contest.
